Looking Ahead: Future Directions
We are committed to find ways to educate Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people about the history of the residential schools and to assist in the healing and reconciliation processes. The LHF will achieve these objectivies through the following programs:

Along with Aborignial Healing Foundation and Library Archives Canada, the LHF will continue presenting the traveling exhibition entitled
Where are the Children? Healing the Legacy of the Residential Schools. By bringing the history of the Residential Schools to local communities the history of Residential Schools will be told. For more information on how to bring these exhibit to your community please contact us.
Our Stories...Our Strength (Book Project):
With the Indian Residential School Resolution Canada, LHF has initiated the development of a National Legacy Commemoration Project entitled “Our Stories...Our Strength”. The project will collect, organize and share Survivors’ stories in an attempt to acknowledge and validate Survivors’ experiences.
